Gears+ link into the schools curriculum and development and offer a range of personal development programs:

• Health and Safety workshop induction
  Safety and the welfare of participants is paramount before taking part in any of the Gears+ activities, therefore all particpants firstly take the induction to ensure there safety in and out of the workshop.
  
  
• Metal Art
  Gears+ offer two programs covering sculpture and jewellery creation:
  • A six week program encourages the participants to develop their imagination and artistic flair to recycle scrap materials to make metal sculptures and to build on the basic workshop skills that need to be developed. Such as welding, filing and tool handling. Participants can keep any art they make.
  • Also a six week program encourages the participants to develop their imagination and artistic flair to recycle scrap materials to jewellery and to again build on the basic workshop skills that need to be developed. Participants can keep any art they make.
