On 10 December 2008 GEARS+ held it's first Annual General Meeting. It was a good time to reflect on the achievements since independence in August 2007 and to look forward to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

In his report Chair, Derek Osbaldestin, made particular comment about the positive reputation that is continuing to grow and how the involvement of organisations like the Princes Trust have helped to improve the appearance of the premises. He was particularly pleased to welcome Amber Ormandy to the Board as a representative of young people in the area.

Chief Executive Trish Bartlett took the oppotunity to thank the Board and Staff for their support during this first operational period.
