At the end of July a group of young people from Harrop Fold School in Little Hulton took their project, Delilah, to Youthbike 2007 and won just about everything! Delilah was inspired by the film Cool Running and this is the first time that GEARS+ have entered this competition, they came home with five prizes:

Youthbike is an annual event and GEARS+ will be entering again in 2008, it involves months of work to design and build the entry and a weekend away for the competition – hard work but great fun. For more information contact Gears+.
